Greta Garbo AKC: CGC, OAP, OJP
Greta arrived as an 8 week old rescue from Blue Earth, MN in 2001 after being found in a ditch with her mother and a few day old litter of 5. Greta was my first puppy in 15 years and my first Jack Russell Terrier. Greta retired from flyball in 2007 but occupies her time with agility, Jack Russell racing and Go-To-Ground, Rally-O, and we’ve most recently begun tracking. She adores infants and toddlers, learning tricks, will figure out how to get what she wants (open doors, climb ladders, whatever it takes!) and lives to EAT! Greta also fits in a little modeling (mostly Target) and takes responsibility for monitoring and “teaching” Fabian, Zak, REO, and foster pups the Greta rules! She has taught me a lot about working with dogs who tend to get stressed and shut down (many remember Greta walking agility courses…) and enjoying the small accomplishments and moments in life! Greta is my heart dog and is very much a MAMA’s girl! |
